Founded in 1969 with the goal of producing electric motors, today Bermar represents a leading position in the international market of the electromechanical and electronics industry, having subsequently supplemented its range of asynchronous AC motors, permanent magnet synchronous motors, standard or customised inverters and motoinverters.

The quality of Bermar products comes from the use of consistently efficient equipment. In the mechanical department, production is carried out mainly by extremely reliable and versatile CNC machines.

Today, Bermar is part of the Moonind group, together with Tramec, MT and Varmec: to provide complete solutions for automation.In 2025, the first moonind center of excellence for motion & control products was born, bringing together MT and Bermar at their headquarters in San Giovanni in Persiceto, Bologna.
